Whether you want to drive into Halifax for a day trip, go to Petite Reviere Vineyards, or visit the Maratime Museum in the historic fishing village Lunenburg, there’s so much to explore. There’re also some of the best views in Nova Scotia within easy walking distance of the house between Ragged Harbour and Pudding Pan Island.

Summerville Beach is just outside of Liverpool with beautiful views and nature.
Head into Halifax to see Shakespeare by the Sea perform at Point Pleasant Park!

Ragged Harbor is a short walk from the cottage- explore the ocean and local wildlife!
Fort Point Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse in local Liverpool. Make sure to go up and ring the fog horn!

Rissers Beach is at a state park on the shore of Nova Scotia and has a beautiful boardwalk to enjoy.
The lovely town of Liverpool is known for its Privateers Days to celebrate the history of the town!

LaHave bakery and bookstore is a favorite stop of ours on the drive to Lunenberg. Make sure to check out the delicious jams.

Lunenberg Nova Scotia is a beautiful fishing town and the home of the Bluenose II!

The Halifax Pier in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is bustling with great music, food, and artwork.

Peggy's Cove is a scenic stop not far from Halifax. It is a big tourist attraction and you will have some amazing views!

It's always a great day at White Point! Get a day pass or just enjoy the bar and restaurant and spend some time at White Point Beach Lodge Resort!

Beach Meadows is one of our favorite local beaches, only a short drive from the cottage
Annapolis Royal is a history-rich, beautiful area of Nova Scotia that is an easy 90 minutes north from our cottage. Check out the historic fort or beautiful botanic gardens!
