If you are traveling from far, the easiest route is via the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. We’ve had good experiences flying Air Canada

From the airport we are an easy 2 hour drive down the coast, with more specifics provided upon confirmation of your rental.

By Land

If you would like to travel from continental North America, you are likely to go through some great spots in the “Maritimes,” the eastern Canadian provinces. As you near Nova Scotia, some possible stops include:

• Bay of Fundy

• Irving Nature Park

• Campobello Island

By land from Eastern USA we recommend the customs at the Canadian border in Calais, Maine.

By Sea

Our top recommendation if you are traveling from east coast United States is to combine travel by land and sea. “The Cat” is a ferry that will take you from Bar Harbour Maine to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The Cat is fast, reliable, and saves hours of driving!

If you would like to save some driving, you can go on the Bay of Fundy Ferry from St John, New Brunswick, to Digby, Nova Scotia.

Both of these ocean options will shorten the drive and make customs much easier.
